Is Shilpa Shetty making her Kannada comeback after 17 years with Prem's 'KD'?

Director Prem's big-budget extravaganza, 'KD', starring Dhruva Sarja is currently shooting and the art team is busy erecting 1960s to 1970s Bangalore city sets. So far the team 'KD' has announced only Crazy Star Ravichandran who will star in a pivotal character and Sanjay Dutt playing the antagonist in the film
Now 'KD' seems to have another Bollywood addition in the form of Shilpa Shetty as the speculation is that the beautiful actress is reportedly expected to make her comeback to Kannada cinema with 'KD'.Shilpa Shetty is not new to Kannada cinema as in the past the actress made her Kannada debut with Ravichandran in 'Preethsod Thappa' (1998), and also worked in Ravichandra's 'Ondagona Baa' (2003) and Upendra's 'Auto Shankar' (2005).
After a 17-year gap, Shilpa is set to return to Kannada with the Prem directorial, and an official confirmation about the same is awaited from the team. Director Prem is one director who leaves no stone unturned to bring lavishness and big names to his films.
The shooting of 'KD' is going on currently erecting massive sets which are expected to be the highlights of the film for the period action entertainer. Also, director Prem is clear in his vision and has assured the media that the film is not just another regular period film but has a strong story with a love angle apart from the big action planned in the film.
The team is yet to reveal the lead actress of 'KD' keeping the suspense and rising curiosity who will be paired opposite Dhruva Sarja in this grandeur film.
