Is Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan jinxed?

The release date of the much-awaited Tamil movie, Kochadaiiyaan, starring superstar Rajinikanth seems to be a mystery. Initially reports suggested that the movie will be released in the middle of 2012, thereafter it was pushed to December 12, which is also the birthday of the film icon. Then buzz was that the movie, directed by his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth, will be released on January 10, during the Pongal season.
Now, sources say the release date has been pushed further. It seems Rajini Sir’s fans will have to wait till April. Reports suggest that movie will be released during Tamil New Year. However, no official statement has been made by the team of the film.
The Tamil movie icon originally hails from Bangalore and did several Kannada movies Thappida Thala, Garjana, Maathu Tappada Maga, andKumkuma Rakshe, to name a few and has a huge fan following across Karnataka.
