Actor Darling Krishna turned director with this year's crowd favourite Love Mocktail, which has brought him the much required success and fame that he's been seeking for over a decade. The actor has since become one of the most sought after names among filmmakers young and old, when they are looking at casting for their new films.
Krishna's next film, srikrishna@gmail.com, a quirky love story being helmed by filmmaker Nagashekar has been launched this week with a quiet puja.He also has meanwhile signed a film with Deepak Aras, who is the brother of actress Amulya, which Deepak will be directing next. Deepak had previously helmed the film Manasology in 2011. We hear that there are a few more films that have been offered to Krishna and some more that makers are waiting to see his next few signings before they think of offering him the film.
Meanwhile, Krishna and his lady love and co-producer of Love Mocktail, Milana Nagaraj, also had a script puja of the sequel to their film recently. The fans have found familiarity in this take of love, friendship and moving on and their demand has even made them write a sequel to the film. Krishna has previously told Bangalore Times that he would be retaining most of the characters from the original for the sequel. The film is slated to take off soon and it will be interesting to see who will be the lead actresses in the film this time and what will be the twists and turns in this love story.
