Filmmaker Nagshekhar's upcoming multi-lingual film Raja Rani, which will have
Chetan in the lead in the Kannada version, may get its heroine soon. The director-actor has apparently approached Tapsee Pannu for the film, which will be made in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
When we contacted Tapsee she confirmed the development, but added, "Well, I will agree to do it considering it will be made in Tamil and Telugu as well, because I am not looking at doing a direct Kannada-only release.
It's a big step to start in a new market and I don't think I am prepared for that, considering I have a lot of projects in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. I have been told that Chetan will only do the Kannada version and Nagshekhar is yet to find a hero who has a market in Tollywood and Kollywood. I will say yes if the logistics work out."
