Television actress Mayuri Kyatari, who’s making her comeback with the new Kannada soap opera Nanna Devru, believes that television remains a powerful platform for aspiring actors. “In the age of reels, everyone wants to be an actor. And I believe television is the best platform to develop one’s craft. It demands dedication and discipline, allowing actors to truly connect with audiences over time.”

The actress, fondly known as Ashwini from the 2013 serial, Ashwini Nakshatra, reflects on how television has evolved over the last decade. She says, “Television has come a long way. Production quality has certainly improved. Television still has that ability to bring families together at specific times, and the continuous shooting schedule allows actors like myself to learn and grow every day.”

‘Balancing motherhood with acting has been an ongoing journey’“Finding a balance as a mother and as an actor has been challenging. If I get a day off, it’s all about my son. While at home, I was longing to get back to acting. Now, being on set means cherishing every family moment when I’m off duty. It’s beautiful,” she shares.
