I'm not doing an item number: Divya Spandana

She���������s just come back from Portugal where she was to shoot for her Kannada film Lucky. But visa problems faced by the rest of the crew delayed the whole schedule, bringing Divya Spandana back to the country earlier than she had expected.
But on her return, the actor was welcomed with news she hadn���������t bargained for ��������� that she is set to do an item song for Kavitha Lankesh���������s Crazy Loka.
���������This is not the first time that an unvalidated rumour about me has spread. Last time, it was that I was to act in Veerappan (Vana Yuddham in Tamil), and now this. I���������m not doing an item number. Kavitha said that the producer had told her that I would do a special number for the film. There���������s no question of anything like that. I don���������t need that kind of publicity,��������� fumes the Vaaranam Aayiram girl.
What���������s also irked her are the reports that she���������s been dillydallying over whether to do the song or not due to remuneration discussions. ���������That���������s absurd. Everything doesn���������t work on money,��������� says Divya.
