I want to prove myself as a performer: Sanjjanaa
Sanjjanaa, whose multi-starrer Sagar is now in theatres has had a busy few months. The actor, who had been giving finishing touches to the much-delayed Sagar with a schedule in Singapore for its songs, followed that up with another stint in the country for her film with Aditya, called Rebel.
Once back in town, she took off for a long schedule of her new Telugu film, Yamahoo Yama, to Los Angeles.

Yamahoo Yama sees Sanjjanaa with Sai Ramshankar and Sri Hari. But whats got the actor most excited is her upcoming Sandalwood projectMahanadhi, which according to the actor is a female-centric film, with her as the protagonist.
This is a first in my career and I am very excited, says Sanjjanaa. Director Krishnappa Uppur has directed two heroine-centric Tulu films, both of which have won state awards. The rest of the team is also fantastic, says Sanjjanna, adding, The main reason I accepted a film like Mahanadhi is because I want to prove myself as a performer and answer all those critics who say that heroines hardly have anything to do in a film.
