I want to explore every sphere of acting, says Sonu Gowda

From emoting on screen, to enacting on the stage, actor Sonu Gowda dons both avatars well. Back from a hiatus to the stage for the play E=MC2, a suspense thriller, Sonu wants to explore all platforms.
‘I’m now juggling films and theatre’
Sonu is also shooting for a cinema project, Doopada Makkalu. “It’s about the soliga children, who are in a dilemma to stay in their own habitat, or migrate to urban areas to pursue higher education. As a teacher, I try to guide them.”

‘It’s always exciting to be on stage’
Sonu’s career in theatre started with the Benaka team. After three years away from the stage due to films, Sonu Gowda is excited, “I want to be active on all platforms where acting is prominent. In this play (E=MC2), I play Mathangi, who has protagonist and antagonist elements.”
