I upskill to keep up with my competition, says Shreyas Manju

Actor Shreyas Manju talks about his upskilling stint in the US
Actor Shreyas Manju, whose last outing was Raana in 2022, is currently in the US to upskill, as well as to do a recce for his upcoming project. “My next will be an internationally-shot action flick rooted in the Western culture. I wanted to have first-hand knowledge about lighting and other technicalities in various cities in the US, for which I am meeting technicians and several other people related to this. I am taking up masterclasses in acting at the New York Film Academy and Chicago Film Production School to mentally prepare myself for my role. Also, I am training in writing and also polishing my stunt skills, because upskilling is important to keep up with the competition, especially when cinema has become a universal language,” informs Shreyas.

Without fretting over past failures, he is looking forward to embarking on a new journey. “Whatever has happened has happened; it is no longer in my control. I am looking at a fresh beginning by getting involved in the behind-the-screen process,” says Shreyas.
