On the occasion of Karnataka Rajyotsava, director Prem introduced Kannada movie buffs to yet another new character in his upcoming KD and it was none other than Ramesh Aravind.
The poster featured Ramesh togged in vintage attire and riding a Lambretta. “In fact this is exactly what clinched it for me when Prem told me about the film. When I was in college in the 70s, this is exactly how we would dress up. Bell-bottom pants, two-inch belts, these checked shirts and long hair. I even had a Lambretta scooter and would go to college on it and that was considered rather hip during those days,” laughs Ramesh. Elaborating on the character, Ramesh who has been experimenting with roles, says he plays a person called Dharma in the film. “And he is a testimony to his name — always believes in doing things the right way. To be honest is the only way he knows and he frowns upon anyone who is not a stickler of conventions or goodness. I liked this trait of his because even I’m someone who will never give up on my integrity,” states the actor.
