Priyanka Kumar, who has dabbled with roles on the small screen, is finally making her big screen debut with Bad Manners, opposite Abishek Ambareesh. As a newcomer, Priyanka believes that hustling isn’t something new, but having a Suri-film stamp onportfolio is an added bonus. “I consider myself extremely lucky to have landed a movie that is being directed by Suri. I felt like the chosen one,” she says.
Priyanka says the acting lessons from her TV stint helped her ace the role in her upcoming flick. “The rehearsals helped too,” she adds.
Calling Suri an all-rounder, Priyanka says, “He takes care of everything on the sets, even the smallest things. He is always encouraging his actors to be as natural as possible. Also, he doesn’t reveal much about the character or the film; everything happens on the spot. Spontaneity is a key factor for Suri.”
Priyanka plays the role of a businessman’s daughter in the film, and says revealing more would give away the film’s core plot.
