I feel lucky to be alive: Anusha Rai recounts her road accident

Actress Anusha Rai was involved in a road accident in Bengaluru recently.

She tells us, “I was just about to park my two-wheeler near my dance class at RR Nagar, when a car hit me from behind. By the time I realised what was happening, I was under the wheel. The person driving was a minor; he panicked and pressed the accelerator. I was immediately rushed to the hospital.”
“Thankfully, there are no fractures, but I do have a muscle tear, and have bruises on my knees, and the skin around my waist has peeled off,” the actress adds.
Anusha, who feels lucky to have nearly escaped death says, “I am a firm believer in Goddess Chamundeshwari. As soon as I felt better, I visited the temple in Mysuru and prayed to her for saving me.”
The actor, is currently at home, recuperating from her injuries.
