Anupam Kher has begun shooting for Ghost, which marks his debut in Sandalwood, helmed by M G Srinivas. The project has Shivarajkumar in the lead role.
Currently in Bengaluru, shooting for the movie, Anupam Kher in an interaction with media said, “I first heard the script from the director, I felt the subject is interesting and it is a stylishly made film.
I don’t take myself seriously which allows me to fly high. I don’t carry the burden that I have done so much work. I don’t want to be called as thespian, legend or veteran. My competition is with the new comers that’s how I can keep reinventing myself as an actor.”
On why it took such a long time debut in Sandalwood, “I was approached for a Kannada film may be ten years back,
Upendra was a hero in it, I somehow couldn’t allocate dates for it,” he adds.
The makers of the movie have confirmed that Ghost will be released in two parts. The film which is likely to be released by this year end also has Archana Jois and Malayalam actor
Jayaram in a prominent role . Ghost brings together Shivarajkumar and M G Srinivas for the first time.
