It was a moment of double joy at the Simha household, as the actor-couple, Vasishta Simha and Hariprriya, welcomed their first child, a boy, on their second wedding anniversary, on Sunday night.
“Holding the baby just felt surreal,” shared Vasishta, who said he is looking forward to the dad duties now. “Throughout pregnancy, I knew the baby was coming, and I was prepared. But the moment doctors handed me the baby, and I held it in my arms, the reality hit me. I felt like I was holding an entire new world in my arms,” he adds.
“I have not been able to stop smiling. Hariprriya was in a lot of pain during labour, and just to even see her like that was heartbreaking. But looking at our tiny tot, all the pain and worries have vanished. We are looking forward to being good parents,” he shares.
