, who has made his debut in the film Lakshmana, has been appreciated. "Everyone has praised his action and dance skills. It is a proud moment. I had not invited any of the film members or the media to my residence since the film was launched. This is just a thank you meet," he said.

, is the official producer of the film. Revanna revealed that though his son has been praised for his action and dance, they knew he was hesitant while doing romantic scenes. He cited an incident during the shooting of the film in Goa. Anup apparently was not comfortable doing the romantic scene.


Revanna said he and his wife encouraged him and even showed him how to be romantic. Revanna recalled his own love story. He said that he was a Kabaddi player, while his wife was Kho-kho player. Their love story started on the playground and they ended up as life partners. Since they had a love marriage, they were comfortable teaching their son how to be romantic on screen!

Lakshmana released in around 200 screens last week. Anup is paired with Meghana Raj in the film. He has already started shooting for his second film; Panta under the direction of veteran director S Narayan. Revanna's revelations prompted those present to comment that a film based on his love story could be made with Anup playing the lead.
