Raveena Tandon. While everyone seems to have known what Sanjay plays in the film - Adheera, the main antagonist with Yash will take on in the second part - there has has been a lot of mystery surrounding Raveena's role. Raveena essays the role of
Ramika Sen
, the political leader who orders for the hunt and execution of Rocky.
Raveena's character will play a pivotal part in the film in the fate of Rocky, who ends up going from a young dreamer from Mumbai to becoming the underworld kingpin who ruled all of India in this fictional tale set in the 1970s and 80s. Raveena, who had previously acted in the Kannada film
Upendra that released in 1999, makes her comeback to
Sandalwood with this film.
In a previous interview with Bangalore Times, Raveena had said, "I was in talks with the KGF team for quite some time, and have been fairly impressed by its storyline. Prashanth had narrated the script to me long before I watched the first part. Later, when I saw the film, I was blown away by its edgy, new-age cinema approach. Having said that, it was important for me to thoroughly understand the narrative and its course in the second part. My character in the sequel is so powerful that I couldn’t say no to it."
