Hat-trick Director Prem is smitten by acting bug?

It seems director-turned-actor Prem is working hard to establish himself as a popular actor in Sandalwood. Prem’s next as a lead actor—My Name Is Byregowda—will be launched in September. However, the recording of the songs for the film has started recently. The director of the film is Mahesh Babu. The music for the movie has been composed by Arjun Janya.
In fact, Prem is also acting for MS Ramesh's film Daasavala.Ramesh’s film is Prem’s third as an actor. Prem’s previous two films as an actor are Preethi Eke Bhumi Melide and Prem Adda.
The director-actor is also an occasional singer and lyricist. He is considered as one of the ace directors in Sandalwood. Making his debut in the 2003 released Kariya, he directed back-to-back three successful films and is popularly addressed as Hatrick Director. He made his acting debut in Preethi Yeke Bhoomi Melide in the year 2008.
