Harshika Poonacha ready to strike as serpent queen in her next movie

in which she will play the role of a serpent queen.Harshhika, who will begin shooting from October 21 in Bengaluru, will share screen space with newbie Manoj Puttur. The film is helmed by

“As a child, I’ve always had a fascination with portraying a fictitious role which is getting fulfilled with Kaalanagini,”

Harshika

said. “I have done photoshoots portraying me as a queen on many occasions which has given me first-hand experience. In Kaalanagini, I will be queen of snake land.”
Harshika is aware of how challenging the role will be. “The costumes will be heavier which need to be carried with elan and even the mannerisms of a queen need to be in a certain way, but I am confident of pulling it off. The team is planning to erect huge sets to shoot it in a grand way.”

Actors Avinash and Sharath Lohitashwa will be seen in significant roles, with Ugramm Manju essaying the role of an antagonist. Arun Suresh is the cinematographer while Nandu is composing the music.
