‘Hariprriya’s set to unravel a mystery’

, produced by Disha Entertainment, is that it is a mystery tale that is unraveled from the perspective of a woman. “Hariprriya is an investigative officer in the film and the manner in which she goes about doing her job will be a refreshing change for audiences, who are used to larger-than-life portrayals by heroes. The track of the story involving the

is based on a real-life incident that happened on the Karnataka-Andhra border, which we have adapted with cinematic liberties as the case remains unsolved,” explains Shankar.
That apart, the filmmaker adds that the film will appeal to family audiences as there is a strong mother-daughter bond. “Sumalatha Ambareesh is Hariprriya’s mother in the film and their relationship, including displays of affection, fights, etc., will tug at the heart strings of audiences,” Shankar adds.
