Haripriya to play Amruthamati in Baraguru Ramachandrappa's next

Sandalwood star Haripriya has signed up her next project with filmmaker Baraguru Ramachandrappa.


Titled ‘Amruthamati’, the story is based on the poem 'Yashodhara Charita' written by Mahakavi Janna. Haripriya signed up for this role because it is based on the 13th century poem. In the story, Yuvaraja Yashodhara's wife Amruthamati falls in love with Ashtavankhana, who works in a stable. Baraguru Ramachandrappa is planning to focus the story on the leading lady and decided to rope in Haripriya to play Amruthamati.

Haripriya is currently busy with multiple movies like ‘Yelidiya Elliya Tanaka’, ‘

Kannada

Gottilla’, and ‘Bichugathi’ among others. The actress has also signed up a film with Gurunandan.
