Hari Santhosh was supposed to direct Chiranjeevi Sarja

Director Hari Santhosh and Chiranjeevi Sarja had to team up for a project which was discussed before five years. The subject which revolved around politics and underworld was titled as Doddavaru. A song bit from the movie has been released online by the film team.
In a video which Hari Santhosh has released on facebook says, “Doddavaru is a Chiranjeevi’s dream project.I know Chirajeevi from a very long time. I had never met such an honest and sweet person in my life. We used to discuss about various stories and projects, though, we have not done any movies together. As doddavaru is a high budget movie, it went years to take off. We had made a reference trailer by using Chiranjeevi’s old movie stills and scenes a few years ago which had impressed Chiru a lot. Whenever the song got deleted on the phone, he had asked me to resend the song crooned by Chandan Shetty. Vijju has composed the music. Chethan Kumar has penned the lyrics. We have released the song now to pay tribute to him. ”
According to sources, Chiranjeevi Sarja had to collaborate with director Mahesh Babu for the second time with whom he had worked for the movie Chiru. Chiranjeevi Sarja died of heart attack on Sunday. His untimely death left everyone in a state of shock. The entire Sandalwood industry and his fans have mourned his death. He was laid to rest at Dhruva Sarja’s farm house near Kanakapura.
