Hansika and Simbu head to Japan

Hansika Motwani has come a long way since she did the 2008 film Bindaas opposite Puneeth Rajkumar. Having given several hits in the Tamil and Telugu film industries, the bubbly actress has signed two films opposite Tamil actor Simbu. The two will soon head to Japan, with the remaining cast and crew of Vettai Mannan, to complete the shooting of the film. Director Nelson has planned a single shot schedule in Japan, to fasten the pace of filming.
The shooting of Vaalu, which also stars Simbu and Hansika, has wrapped up and is in the post production stage.
Hari Narayanan, President of Tokyo Tamil Association, recently detailed the Japanese government’s support to Tamil cinema in shooting in Japan. He said that the Japanese government came out with a plan to provide financial support o the Indian film industry, and in particular to Tamil films being shot in that country.
