Gurunandan and Shraddha in Pelli Choopulu remake

Actress Shraddha Srinath, who debuted with U-Turn this year, has signed yet another film. She will play the lead in the Kannada remake of the 2016 hit Telugu romcom Pelli Choopulu, in which she will romance Gurunandan. The actress says that it was the success and reception the original received that compelled her to sign the film. The Kannada version hasn't been titled as yet and will be directed by choreographer-turned-director Murali.
