Sequel movies are becoming a trend in Sandalwood. ‘Googly’ sequel 'Googly 2' is being made in Kannada. Actor Prithvi is playing the lead role in the film.
Pawan Wadeyar who was the director of ‘Googly’ has announced the movie officially. But, this film will be directed by his Assistant Director Raj Guru.
Prithvi is the grandson of music director GK Venkatesh. Prithvi, who had earlier acted in 'Nanu Mathu Varalakshmi', is now ready to work in ‘Googly 2’. Prithvi's father Manjunath is investing in the film. At present, the pre-production work of the movie is going on and the shooting will start from next month.
The film 'Googly' was released in 2013. Rocking star Yash has starred in the film directed by Pawan Wadeyar. The love story had gained a huge success in Sandalwood.
