Good message, ocean of emotions; Dil Pasand is a great journey: Producer
Dil Pasand, starring Darling Krishna, Nishvika Naidu and Megha Shetty, hits the screens today. Sumant Kranthi, who is producing the film under the banner of Rashmi Films, tells us why he chose to produce the film and the journey.
“The film’s USP is the relatability of content. The characters feel close to real life and people will be able connect with the film and the characters. The story is very natural and even after watching it multiple times, it evokes laughter,” he says.
“Apart from a lot of fun and comedy, there is a very beautiful father-son sentiment woven into it. The last 30 minutes is an emotional ride. Dil Pasand has a takeaway for everyone; it has a good message, an ocean of emotions, and takes viewers on a wonderful journey for 2.5 hours, which one has to experience on the silver screen,” he adds.
Speaking about the star cast and director Shiva Tejass, Sumant says, “It was a very smooth journey. The film took off smoothly and ended smoothly. Since all the team members are experienced, they had clarity about what was needed and what had to be done.”
“A few censor officials who watched the film sent a message to lyricist Kaviraj, who has penned three songs for the film, appreciating the content and the film. It was very satisfying. Dil Pasand is a fun film and a complete family entertainer,” he says.
