The actor requested director Hemanth M Rao to collect his award

For most Sandalwood fans, Ananth Nag’s performance in Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu is one of their favourites. A secret is that Ananth also cherishes this award and wanted to collect the Best Actor award at the 64th Jio Filmfare Awards South 2017 himself. Since he had a family vacation in the United States planned long ago at the same time, he requested director Hemanth M Rao to collect the award on his behalf.
