Giriraj turns social activist for Ooty
Jatta director M B Giriraj, has acted in the upcoming bi-lingual movie Ooty which is based on a novel Preetiya Arasi, written by Krishnamurthy Chamaram. The movie is about a love story which takes place in the backdrop of 1991 Cauvery riots.
Giriraj says, “As I am very inspired by the writings of Krishamurthy, I decided to play a small role in the movie who is an activist.

We have to wait and see how the movie has turned out. Though I have done 20 to 22 movies earlier, people have started to recognize me after Jatta.” Malayalalm actor Mohanlal is also likely to act in the movie. The film, which has Avinash in the lead role, has been shot in Tumkur, Mysore, Ooty, Shimoga and Bangalore.
Giriraj's next project, Thunda Haiklu Sahavasa, is also in shooting stage. The film will see Kishore and in the lead role.
