Gautham Karthik's on a roll

Bangalore boy Gautham Karthik, who made his debut with Mani Ratnam's Kadal opposite Thulasi Nair, seems to be making it big in the Tamil film industry.
The actor, who was offered several scripts soon after his debut, seems to be finally making his choices. Gautham is presently shooting for his next Tamil flick titled Sippai. The film is directed by Saravanan and produced by GVG Raju.
Gautham, who will be seen opposite Lakshmi Menon in the film, tweets, "And that's a wrap! Sippai first sched done :) what a blast! Looking forward to starting 2nd sched soon." Looks like the actor is thoroughly enjoying his work. His upcoming films also include Vai Raja Vai and the remake of the Telugu film Ala Modalaindi.
However, sadly, Gautham recently also mentioned that one of his friends passed away after an accident. "A friend of mine has just passed away, was admitted in hospital for fractured legs after an accident and died of an overdose of drugs given," he said and added, "Can we trust anyone anymore?"
