Garadi has proven that content rooted to culture never fails, says B C Patil

Producer and actor B C Patil is on cloud nine as his film Garadi, which hit the screens last Friday, is getting a good response. The film, starring Soorya, Sonal Monteiro and Darshan, and directed by Yogaraj Bhat, revolves around wrestling.

Patil says, “We are happy with the collections across Karnataka which are increasing each day. The holidays helped in bringing audiences to theaters. Garadi has once again proven that content which is rooted to our land, culture and combined with a stellar star cast can create magic.”
He further states, “We are in discussion with Hindi production house to remake Garadi, as wrestling has vast presence in Hindi speaking regions.”

On upcoming projects, the producer and actor adds, “Our production house tasted tremendous success this year. We are in talks with Yogaraj Bhat and other filmmakers to back the subjects where content takes the center stage.”
