Ganesh had more than ten readings for Geetha

The Ganesh-starrer Geetha will see the

actor

play an angry young man, in the backdrop of the Gokak agitation. While the fact that the narrative deals with the

Gokak agitation

drew the actor to the film, he took his time to

finalise

the script. Reportedly, the actor said that while he usually finalises a film with a few readings, he took about twelve readings with Geetha and eventually the script was finalised after a few changes were put in place. Geetha, which stars Ganesh in the lead, also stars actors Shanvi Srivastava, Prayaga Martin, and Parvathy Arun, along with Sudharani, Devaraj, Ranghayana Raghu, and Achuth Kumar.
