With the pandemic playing spoilsport and the team eventually having to delay the release indefinitely, fans have grown curious to know the new release date - in this vein, a recent online report suggests that the makers are eyeing a May 2022 release for the film.
Although the report does not confirm the new release plans, considering that the makers are still gauging the situation, it reveals that a May release is certainly on the cards. Directed by

', 'Gajanana and Gang' is a youthful entertainer set against the backdrop of a college with
Shri Mahadev playing the titular role in the film.
The same report also reveals that Abhishek Shetty, in the meantime, is gearing up to get started on his third directorial. With a new film titled 'Araam Aravind Swamy', Abhishek is kicked to bring his lockdown endeavor to fruition soon and, reportedly, plans on casting known faces from different regions with talented actor Kishore as one of his main choices. The team is expected to make a formal announcement soon.
Having also starred in his directorial debut 'Nam Gani B.Com Pass', Abhishek is reported to have a key role in 'Gajanana and Gang' and will star as the lead in his next.
