From 'Yajamana' to 'Chaarulatha': Kannada films which had the best portrayal of dual roles

Acting in itself is a complex art which requires a person to completely transform into the character they are playing. Artists do a lot of background work when they take up an acting assignment, reading up on the character, its traits and habits and internalizing them. However it is still relatively easier to perform an act when a person has to carry forward the same characteristics throughout the script of the film or play. When artists play more than one roles in the same film, it’s a different ball game altogether as it requires them to quickly switch from one character to another and that can be pretty disorienting. Today, we look at some Kannada films from 'Yajamana' to 'Chaarulatha', which had actors giving their best at playing dual roles.
