Former IPS Annamalai to play a coach in swimmer KS Vishwas' biopic

K Annamalai, who is known as ‘Singham’ in Karnataka Police Department recently surprised everyone by his resignation and here’s more; he will soon be making a debut on the big screen.
Annamalai will play the role of a swimming coach in ‘Arabbhi’. The film is a biopic on swimmer KS Vishwas, who lost both his hands in an accident and went on to win several medals in Para-swimming Championships.The makers had decided to cast a unique person in the role of a coach, someone who didn’t belong to the film industry and that’s when they met Annamalai and told him the story.
‘Arabbhi’ will be directed by Rajkumar and the film’s shooting has already begun. Annamalai will joining the team from December 4. According to sources, Annamalai has received a remuneration of one rupee for the film.
