It was
announced many months ago that actors
Pruthvi Ambaar
and
Milana Nagaraj would soon be working in a film together. Titled '
For Regn
', the new film was to begin production shortly after the announcement but there weren't any updates regarding the same since then. Reportedly, Milana Nagaraj got busy shooting for the sequel of the very successful 'Love Mocktail', and Pruthvi, on the other hand, began shooting for '
Shivanna
' in the meantime.
However, 'For Regn' is finally back on track. According to the latest updates, the film's muhurtha was held yesterday, on the 11th of December, 2020, and the film's entire crew will begin production soon. Lead actors Pruthvi Ambaar and Milana Nagaraj were present at the muhurtha ceremony along with veteran actress
Sudhrani
and a few other cast & crew members. Pruthvi used his Twitter account to share pictures and make the announcement.
'For Regn' is being directed by the debutant
Naveen Dwarakanath who is known for his short films 'Shadow' and 'Yellow Board'. Popular comedic actor Table Nani too features in the star cast and is set to play an important role in the film. Reportedly, Milana Nagaraj agreed to do the film because she was first intrigued by the peculiar title of what would most likely be a genuine family-entertainer. The pairing of Pruthvi and Milana too has resulted in a lot of fans looking forward to the film's release. More updates will soon follow regarding the making and other details of 'For Regn'.
