Urban voters think that election day is just a day off for them and they don’t want to go out and stand in queues. But these are the people who crib the most. They say that there are hardly any facilities for the urban people and the tax payers’ money is going for the rural development. They don’t understand that until and unless there is sufficient development in the rural side, there will be problems faced in terms of food, water or power supply. The

should not just

vote

for voting sake, they should keep the constitution in their minds and ensure they vote to save it.
We recently conducted a small research where he asked youngsters about their idea of the

caste

system. They said they were against it and all of them look at living harmoniously. But when we went through their matrimonial search profiles, they all had listed their caste/sub-caste first. This shows how caste is in-built in the minds of people. The same is the case of politics today as well. But our voters should remind them to focus on development and choose the right individual. There are problems beyond roads and the immediately visible issues.

It could be the water scarcity or the pollution in air we breathe. We must fight these both on an individual capacity and also through voting for the right candidates. I’ve always been an early riser and been one of the first to cast my vote during

elections

. I see so many middle class people in the queues with hope. Cynicism today has sunk in, but one must not let it cloud their responsibility to go out and vote on the election day.
