This year's Independence Day is going to be extra special for all

fans as the first official poster of the much-awaited '
James' is set to be unveiled on the day. The action-packed mega saga will feature
Puneeth Rajkumar in a full-blown action avatar and the makers have deemed the 74th Independence Day to be the perfect occasion to offer the maiden glimpse of the film. The team took to social media earlier today to make the announcement which, for obvious reasons, has been trending ever since.
The whole team of 'James' has resumed shooting very recently in July with an intense action sequence choreographed by the very popular duo of
Ram-Lakshman
. Owing to the restrictions laid during the previous year's lockdown,
Chethan Kumar and Co. were able to squeeze in a four-day schedule but were then forced to put things on hold indefinitely. Now, post the second lockdown, the team is back on floors and striving hard to wrap up production.
'James' will be Puneeth Rajkumar's first collaboration with Chethan Kumar who has previously directed hit films like 'Bahaddur' and 'Bharaate'. Puneeth will reunite with his 'Raajakumaara' co-star
Priya Anand on this occasion and will hope to repeat the same magic as before. In the same vein, he will be seen in D.O.P Krishna's espionage thriller wherein he essays the role of an R&AW officer. More updates to follow soon.
