First Kannada release at Urvashi theatre in years

The landmark theatre in the city, Urvashi, which is perhaps one of the few surviving single theatres is know to screening only Hindi or English films, but there is always a first and its takes a stalwart to do so. The website of the theater has listed Sudeep���������s forthcoming Kannada film Bachchan to be coming soon to the theatre. Now that is surely good news for the Kannada film fans and is sort of a feat for the Kannada film industry. What is interesting is the fact that the film is superstar Sudeep���������s which is causing a change in the fixed routine of the theatre.
The film which has already sold its satellite rights at a high price has completed its shoot. Bachchan, directed by Shahshank, features Bhavana, Tulip Joshi and Parul Yadav in the female lead roles. Ashish Vidyarthi, Pradeep Singh Rawat and Ravishankar have also donned key role with Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu playing an important character in the film.
