Yesterday, on the 9th of December, 2020, Ramesh Arvind's directorial debut '

Rama Shama Bhama

' turned 15 and the actor shared a small tweet to make the announcement. Released on the same day in 2005, 'Rama Shama Bhama' was a successful film at the box-office and was appreciated for the humor and all the major performances. Though it was a remake of the 1997 Tamil film 'Sathi Leelavathi' (which stars the same principal cast of Ramesh and Kamal Haasan), the Kannada remake was still original in its conception and came off fresh to a new audience.

Popular music composer Gurukiran, who shared the original tweet regarding the film's 15th anniversary, was also the film's distributor in the Mangalore region. 'Rama Shama Bhama's' music too was a huge success and Gurukiran had garnered a lot of praise for the songs.

'Rama Shama Bhama' also included the very funny and talented Urvashi, actress Shruthi, Anirudh, and Daisy Bopanna as part of its main cast. The film was shot by PKH Das and edited by Nagendra Urs. After making a succesful debut with the film, Ramesh Arvind would go on to direct the films like 'Sathyavan Savithri', 'Venkata in Sankata', 'Nammanna Don', and the Tamil film 'Uttama Villian'.
