Families bring makeup for Ragini; chocolates for Sanjjanaa in jail

Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani, who are both under judicial custody, are currently at the

central jail. While Ragini was moved there on Monday, Sanjjanaa joined her late on Wednesday, and even though there have been rumours of discord between the actresses, which came up even when they were housed together at the CCB remand house, jail authorities have, apparently, put them in the same cell again.

Both actresses had family visiting them on Thursday. While Sanjjanaa's mother dropped by with

clothes

and some chocolates, Ragini's parents and brother came with fresh clothing and some makeup for her. Given the pandemic, though, these items will be handed over to them only after a few days.

The actresses, who have been given very basic facilities in their cell, including a carpet to sleep on, have been ‘talking’a lot, say

With Sanjjanaa’s bail hearing scheduled today and Ragini’s tomorrow, it remains to be seen if either of them will spend more time in prison. Their families are hopeful that the actresses will be back home for the weekend.
