Exclusive: Sangeetha Bhat Sudarshan takes on a thriller for its ‘wow moments’

Actress Sangeetha Bhat Sudarshan, who kicked off her second innings in Sandalwood bwith Roopanthara, opposite Kishore, has now signed up for a suspense thriller. The film, with Vignesh in the lead role, will be directed by Prashanth, who had previously helmed Tulu films.
Sangeetha says, “I have been listening to plenty of scripts ever since I decided to make a comeback. As soon as I heard the story, I felt there were wow moments which made me accept the project.My role has plenty of scope for acting and I am sure it will stand out in the movie.”
She adds, “I play a youngster who has just passed out of college and has begun working. When on a holiday, she gets lost deep inside forest with another guy. How she overcomes the tough situations will lead to a lot of twists and thrills.”

Meanwhile, Sangeetha is also playing a special role in the serial, Yediyuru Shree Siddhalingeshwara, which will be aired for three hours on the occasion of Naga Panchami. “I have acted in serials previously, but this is the first time I am doing a devotional show. I will be seen as the Vaishnavi princess of the snake world. She is a staunch devotee of Lord Parameshwara. Her main motto is to get back the lost Nagamani, which is vital in the snake world. I had to wear heavy costumes, which was new for me and quite a challenge too,” she sums up.
