Exclusive: Sagar Puranik weds Deepa Jagadeesh. Two days later, it’s back to work!

got married on May 18 in

Dharwad

with the blessings of parents, friends and well-wishers. But two days later, it was back to work for the newly-weds.

Sagar Puranik says, “The wedding celebrations are yet to sink in as we begin an exciting journey. There was threat of rain on the wedding day because we got married in an open area at a resort. But it was a slight drizzle that added to our wedding celebrations, without dampening it. There were plenty of rituals for two days which ended in Bengaluru, so we had no rest. My family members knew Deepa so it’s not like she was entirely new to them. Many politicians from North Karnataka attended the wedding. Those from the industry couldn’t attend the wedding as it was mid-week.”
The director, who has resumed work, says, “We both consider work to be equally important in life which made us resume work soon. Deepa has begun shooting in Hyderabad.”
