Young Sandalwood director
Sagar Puranik and actress Deepa Jagadeesh are all set to tie the knot on May 18 in Dharwad. The couple will host a reception in Bengaluru on May 28.
Sagar, who is looking forward to the beginning of a new phase in his life, says, “Our wedding will be a blend of both our family traditions. Since most of our family members are from Dharwad, we have decided to have the wedding there.
Preparations are on in full swing to ensure that the ceremony takes place without any hindrances. Industry friends and politicians are expected to attend our Bengaluru reception.”
The couple had a unique pre-wedding photo shoot, in which they dressed up in North Karnataka farmer's attire. “I have travelled extensively in North Karnataka and have interacted with people there, especially farmers. I find them to be very hardworking and innocent people, so we wanted to capture their culture and routine life, which is why we dressed up like them and shot at an old house.”
