Having completed work on his debut directorial film, Rowdy Fello, RJ, actor and filmmaker Rohith is working on his next project, a sci-fi film titled Goat.
"I am busy with the pre-production work for the film. Work on the story began earlier this year, following which I met some people interested in backing it. The title Goat may lead people to think it’s the abbreviation, Greatest of All Time, but I won’t say anything about the reason for the title yet. This is a sci-fi subject. I know people always begin by saying their subject is different, but this one is genuinely unlike any other film that has been made in Kannada and I wanted to do something novel," he says.
Rohith visited the UK earlier this year and is currently travelling there again to do more pre-production work like location hunting. "We intend to begin filming in September as per our plans. The film will have Diganth, Sapna Pabbi, who has been a part of some interesting web series, Prakash Belawadi, British actress Rebecca and myself as part of the cast," shares Rohith, who also has his Karvva producer, D Krishna Chaitanya, backing this project.
