Exclusive: Raghu Mukherjee dons the khaki once again

Actor Raghu Mukherjee has been flooded with police officer’s roles since his last outing as Inspector Vikram. Quite naturally, his next project, an as-yet untitled movie, sees him wearing the khaki once again for newcomer Vachan’s directorial debut in Sandalwood.
Raghu, who recently wrapped up shooting for the movie in Mysuru, says, “Though I was flooded with police officer’s roles, nothing drew me into the subject.I thought this one had a new perspective, which will be revealed in the climax. I play a shrewd cop who never smiles and speaks very little and deals with a particular case which is the core element of the project. Actors Kishore and Ravishankar play my seniors in the film.”

Raghu will also be seen in Head Bush, which is based on the life of Bengaluru's first underworld don, M P Jayaraj. “I play Nataraj, a very powerful character which has given me the much-needed break from doing cop roles. More details will be revealed by the team soon.”
