Singer Aditi Sagar is thrilled to share screen space with Shivarajkumar in Veda, which marks her acting debut. She has been staying in Mysuru to shoot for her portions of the film, which is Shivarajkumar’s 125th film.
Aditi says, “I used to visit the sets of Shivanna’s movie along with my father when I was very young. Having grown up watching his films, I am overwhelmed to act alongside him. Shivanna is like a child buzzing with energy om the sets. Acting in films is new to me, so I get a briefing from the director A Harsha first. If I fail to nail it in a few takes, he steps in and simplifies the entire process so that I understand exactly what I need to do. At the same time, we are having a lot of fun on the set. I am not allowed to reveal anything about my character, but it is a powerful role.”
Aditi, who is now dabbling between singing and acting, states, “These are two different forms of art. I love both acting and singing. Acting demands a lot of time, whereas filmi singing gets over quickly. I love painting, which gives me a refreshing change. I have a few songs which are left to be finished, which I will do once I am back in Bengaluru. I have acting offers as well, which I will announce once Veda is done. I will pursue both singing and acting.”
