"I am thrilled to have bagged this project. This will be my third with Dhananjaya. The first film saw me in a small role, while the second one got me the fame and recognition, and people loved us as a pair. This time around, it is a subject that is more serious and will see me in a completely new avatar," reveals Amrutha.
The actress elaborates, "Since this is a cop drama that deals with sensitive issues, I have a role that is more mature and is like an anchor to Dhananjaya's police officer role. We had a simple muhurtha of the film on Thursday, while the filming will take place later this summer. I am also happy to work with Karthik Gowda and
Yogi G Raj
, who have become more family than friends, since they have been an integral part of Badava Rascal."
Amrutha, who is awaiting the release of Abbabba, says, "This is my first signing of 2022 and I am happy that my patience has paid off. I had some good releases recently, and people have appreciated my performances. I was waiting for a good film and couldn't have asked for anything better," she shares.
