Exclusive: Akshitha Bopaiah ready to take the leap into Kollywood

Actress Akshitha Bopaiah, a popular face on Tamil television, is making her Kollywood debut with the movie Oxygen Thandale alongside actor Siddharth Kapilavayi. Directed by Akash, shooting for the film will begin next month.
An elated Akshitha says she is happy to be branching out to Tamil films as well. "I am familiar with the Tamil language. The team behind my Tamil series, Kannana Kanne, was convinced with my acting skills.They felt I would be a good fit for the character," she says.
In Oxygen Thandale, she plays an innocent girl from an affluent family. "She falls in love with a guy. But just when everything is going smoothly, they break up for various reasons. This is the crux of the story," she says. In Kannada, she has Karnatakadha Aliya in the pipeline. "It's a romantic comedy that takes the audience on a rollercoaster ride," she says.
