Nathicharami released at a crazy time and the box office impact was not as it should have been. I apologize to the cast and crew for the same. This award is also special because I win it after the birth of my baby girl. These are scary times, as women have to face a lot of challenges while striving to achieve their goals. And things can get tougher when they are not born with a silver spoon in their mouth. I want to teach my daughter to dream, and show her a better, safer world. And that takes a lot of work.”
Sathish Ninasam’s shout-out to dreamers As Sathish Ninasam took home the award for Best Actor Critics, he had a unique shout-out to aspiring actors. “This award is for people like me, who dared to dream and wished that someday they’d become a hero, who’d have a cut-out installed on Kempegowda Road. So, I dedicate this award to all those dreamers,” he said, adding, “I would like to consider this the beginning. I have many more dreams that I wish to achieve. My journey has just begun.”
