‘Ek Love Ya involves a young team’

Ek Love Ya

– which stars Raanna, Reeshma Nanaiah and Rachita Ram in lead roles – hit the screens on Thursday. Directed by Prem, the film is the first production of Rakshithas Film Factory, and Rakshitha is elated about the product.

Rakshitha says, "The industry has opened up and people are coming back to cinema halls. Ek Love Ya is a good film and it is made by a young team. There is a social message in it as well. The film is a journey of 15 years that begins with a love story in college. Ek Love Ya is about the lives that take shape in these years. I am confident that the film will do well, because people like Puri Jagannadh, who is my godfather, has praised the songs. It is like a blessing, as his words matter a lot to me. These are positive vibes."

Quiz her about working with Prem and Rakshitha says, "Working with him is always a tough task. A producer needs to be prepared because he doesn't give up till he gets what he has envisioned (she previously worked with him for Jogaiah). , I welled up with emotions as the film looked fresh and beautiful. I'm happy that it has shaped up this way. It is unlike the other films he has made and is like a debut for this new version of him. Eventually, Prem loves his products and I understand why he promotes them the way he does."

What kinds of films will she want to make next? "We started with the idea of launching Raanna under my banner. Now, we realised we want to help be the platform for young filmmakers and new ideas.
