Edegarike still continues a strong run

Sandalwood movie Edegarike, one of hit movie of last year has completed 50 days at box office and it is heading towards 100 days. The movie which is based on the book written by Agni Sridhar with the same title won accolades from film critics for its gripping narration and screenplay. The movie deals about underworld activities of 90���������s.
Speaking to TOI, director of the movie, D Sumana Kittur who is buoyed by the success of the movie, ���������The success of the Edegarike movie shows that people still like to see novel based movie.The people from different section of the society have appreciated the movie including police officers. The one thing which gave me lot of joy is we have managed to achieve success without any fantasy elements in the movie like love, romance or fights,��������� she says. Sumana has also directed movies like Slum Bala and Kallara Santhe.
The movie has Aditya, Akanksha Mansurkar, Atul Kulkarni and Dharma in the lead.
